Medium difficult ride - a real good rider on a GS may make it - better for thumpers.

I would suggest having an engine 'bash' guard on any bike you plan on taking on this route. Lots of 'baby head' boulders mixed in with other larger rocks along the FS road.
It's a pretty easy ride on the Salero Ranch road though.
