Talking 2nd Saturday ADV Breakfast - Des Moines, IA Edition

In keeping with the sacred tradition of our Omaha and Lincoln brethren, it's time for Des Moines to have its own monthly meet and greet breakfast.

What: Breakfast, bullshit, maybe some riding afterwards...

When: 08:00 every second Saturday of the month.

Who: Anyone that rides their bike more than they wash it.

Where: This can get switched up over time but for now let's say: Gateway Market Cafe - 2002 Woodland Avenue

Believe it or not, I just might make your June breakfast. My wife has relation in Ankeny and she has a trip planned for us sometime around then. I'll let you know.

Excellent! Let me know if you want to borrow a bike while you're here. The RT is out of order right now but the DR is tip top. I think I'm going to be pretty stuck on the K bike I'm bringing home in a week.

I'm out of town for May and June. But, I'll try and plan for the July breakfast.

Good Luck with your breakfast, hope it goes over!
I've lived in the Des Moines area all my life didn't even know where Gateway Market was.

"Back in the day" a group of Des Moines Honda Sport Touring Asnn guys had Sunday breakfasts and rides, meeting at the Brueger's Bagels on Merle Hay Rd. I think they met at like 7:30 am or something. Several times I left Omaha at 5 am just to meet them there and freak them out.

Are you really prepared for a bunch of Nebraskans to show up for free breakfast?

For you, I'd even chip in a couple bucks for gas.

Just don't tell Kurt.
