Went on a little ride early to grab the SW Mo. tag. Perfect day to ride. Now I have chores around the house.

Well one of those KTM's may have been me on the 640. I rode up to the Triumph dealer as I was looking to buy a Kriega tail bag for the 'ol gal and that's the only place this side of KC to see one. Bad part was...got gas in Willard and by the time I got to Eldorado...no wallet. It's somewhere along the highway between Willard and Eldo but I looked and that's a lot of highway to cover. Good news...no cash in that wallet!

Might go for a ride looking again mostly because its going to be a beautiful day and it's a good day for a ride...that is if my wife will let me borrow her credit card!

But if anyone runs across it....

Looking for a safe place to park a car & trailer (folding) for about 10 days.

I am trailering down from Winnipeg to Springfield MO on October 25th to ride the Ozarks and am wondering if any one can help me out. A parking spot or any ideas would be much appreciated.

Also which shop in Springfield could I call to get a front tire spooned on?

Thanks

You can find a place in EL Dorado Springs, Mo!

If you go down 71 cut across 54 to 13 your just 58 miles from Springfield!

Ok guys we have a repo at the bank, I don't want to tell you I can pick it up for but I will tell you what the bike is missing! :)

It has no bags from the original purchase 4,879 miles 2008 Yamaha verseys and no major scrapes. Would you guys give $3,200?

I was going to come by the Rusty Jug but thought it might be rude to introduce myself without so much as a card to buy a coke! Will definitely be back, want to come back up and buy the Kriega Bag I intended to and with card I'll definitely stop by and say hi!

Now, for that Versys, my guess is it's a kawasaki instead of a Yama. No way I'd give $3200 for it, it's red and red is slow...but just for info...where's it located???

The bank is going to sell it tomorrow, I think it's going to take around the 3 mark, but would like to ride this winter and get my money back in the Spring! :)

Thanks Rusty - I will contact the shop to arrange a tire change.

Looks like El Do will make a fine home base for this trip. - Is the mineral spring still in use?

That was the chili cook off downtown, extra methane gas was noticed in the air!

The spring is still functional and you can drink as much as you want! Which will be one sip, 90 some minerals, the town was known as "city of gold" besides the springs healing power, one sip was like drinking a multi-mineral pill. But once they realized it was not the fountain of youth, the town lost its hold on the healing water powers!
