Mark Aren't you the boss now ?
When is Tom going to fix the road in front of my house.. ?? :)

I'm thinking of loading my bike in my truck so I can hop on 495 and blast up towards billerica if that is where we are going to meet / ride..

Just tell me where and when..

On a side note.. who has put in 12V cig. adapters into their 08 + KLRs ? I'd like to do it but have no idea where to start :)

Actually I just ordered this:

http://www.happy-trail.com/Products/...TP_4-8-15.aspx

AND the 5 function thing at the bottom :)

I saw a guy the other day had two 12Vs mounted into the inside right part of the front cowling.. looked pretty sweet..

I'm bummed I can't be there.
I'm down the cape till Sunday but I'll be up for a ride next week.

I got a good beating on the Thrill and Chill last weekend.
Killed another set of turn signals (I think I'm on my 5th set)!

Ride safe boys!

i did get it... but i dont think i used it it. i did however have to get a bi-polar led bulb for the dash. because the blinkers seem to be bleeding through the incadesent bulb... when you turned on the right blinker the right would blink but the left would remain on, dimly lit. and vise versa... if you removed the bulb from the dash it seemed to cure it... so i went with a bi-polar led bulb.

it has something to do with led require less voltage or draw less current..

if you want to get them... you are welcome to my relay...

i was going to try and get my bike ready for today but checked the weather last night and it looked like rain at 7:00 so i proceded to to do some other things. so hopefully i can convince you guys of a ride next week too.

I have seen where people have rotated where the lights are to under the rack so the are directly in line with the bike and don't stick out. I think it was on klr650.net or something it was a while back but looked easy enough to do. They did so it was easier to strap more crap around the bike without the blinkers being in the way.

Thanks I'll check them out. I'm sick of paying for Suzuki turn signals at about $33 a pop!

Howdy

Hey guys, how's it going? I'm in Somerville and ride a Kawasaki KLX250s. I'm really looking forward to hitting more dirt.

The KLX is my first bike and I just got it this March, so I'm a pretty new rider.

I took a trip out to Gilbert Hills State Forest a couple months ago, but it was a long trek and the singletrack was a little too narrow for my taste, but it was my first time offroading so maybe I just need to suck it up. I'd love to hit some (slightly wider) dirt paths and get muddy.
