i would say if you can get it streeted....street it.a lot of the turkey runs around here require a street plate and thats how a few of us on here are able to ride fairly close to the boston area. i guess with ohrv plate you really limit yourself to the few state forest that mass has left for dirtbikes unless you know safe places to park so that cops are not waiting at your truck when you come back.
not sure how you would get a mass street title i think it is a pain in the arse.... GETRAD screwed with this post 08-01-2009 at 04:32 AM |

Street plate it if you can. You need to have a Title or Cert. of Origin that doesn't say "Off Road Only". You can also street register it in other states that aren't as picky as MAss but when I did that I found that getting it Insured was near impossible. Having an unisured vehicle on the road is a serious offense and Im surprised at the number of people who don't have insurance. It is possible to get a dirt oriented bike street registerd in MAss but I won't write it out here in public. Making it public could shine a light on the loop holes and close them up. PM me if you want details.

Wrr
the problem is that no one's going to buy my XRL...but i'll keep trying.
once i clear that stumbling block...i'm gonna look at the DRZ, the WRR and maybe even a few random bikes like huskies and KTMs. david, if you still have that extra DRZ, i may take that off your hands. i'll keep yous posted...but yeah, it'd be nice to drop 50 pounds. jame

did you put the xr up on craigslist? check new hampshire craigslist too a lot of dirt bikes there have "street titles" you may need to have to put lights and blinkers on it because there inspection criteria is different. |

yeah, she's up on the list.
http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/mcy/1304021753.html it's a fully licensed bike - blinkers, lights, plate...all that stuff.
