Anyone wanna hook up and check out Gilbert Hills State forest in Taunton or Freetown State forest? I'd like to set something up. I'm open to suggestions on when.
I had my last round of back injections and I am looking to get back out on the bike.

I'm out for the 7th its my daughter's 3rd birthday and I can't/ wouldn't miss that for anything. I was thinking of venturing down on a weekday. If not how about the following sunday 6/14?

My back is holding up well. I got in about 30 miles of single track yesterday, and other than being out of shape, I'm fine today!

Count me in. I will wait for the details. Can't do the 7th. Any other day (even weekday) is fine with me.

MAL-1 and Fizzer, sorry I didn't catch this thread sooner. As you've seen, I did Freetown Yesterday. Where did you end up going, Mal-1?

I ride a KLR, so I have all that stuff already packed on the bike.
The Doc said to resume "normal" activities. Riding a grossly overwieght dual sport on single track is normal,.....right?

I rode some local high tension wires, then street to a 90 acre construction development, construction hasn't started yet and I have the owner's permission to ride the property. Then more street onto a place that shall remain unamed that has some great trails. Then a little more street to more high tension wires, then home. Basically my old teenage riding spots. All within a few mile homes. It make for some quick, fun off roading.
Nice report on Freetown, I'm following that thread so thanks for the info.

Damn, I can't ride tonight. I have to coach my sons t-ball game, so I'll probably be out cruising the asphalt after dark, depends on the weather. I would ike to hook up and meet some of you guys in the near future. We have a whole summer of riding ahead. It would be cool to ride some of the loops you guys have put togther near your houses. I would be willing to lead a group around mine. Just don't have real high expectations though, I do live in the burbs so good riding areas are hard to find. Some of my routes require you to ride over the same trails multiple times, but it is off roading close to home and some off road is better than no off road.
