Steering stem & bearings

Thanks much for looking at my DR650 build thread and for posting up your build. Great job and the WPs on your bike look fantastic, as does the lighting setup. Hope all works as well as it looks ! Mine looks OK, just doesn't work well together yet.

I see that you have used the stem spacers which we have also considered. I am moving towards fabbing up a new stem + headstock spacer completely from scratch to address the Ohlins fork length vs. WP length differential, the 29mm vs. 30 mm bearings and stem bearing pre-loader setup.

Thanks again for your comments and suggestions on my build. Sincerely appreciated.

The lights are great but i do gotta source some spare globes for when the innevitable happens.

awesome job on the build. Im just starting to look at some parts to do similar build. Do you have any info on how you set your forks up or are they standard 525 sx ?
