Well Kim and I got there at 12:00 and then Lovin It Strom and Bigmak showed up 25 minutes later as BM's bike broke down.

I've seen you alot riding riding round Salem, can't miss your tash and the fact you look like your 8ft tall

I'm usually in my white F150 truck with a trailer on the back when I see you (Imperial Gardening) written on the side, I'll honk next time I see ya.

Any chance of a midweek lunch and maybe a ride? I always seem to read this thread after the fact, but would like to meet some of the areas inmates. I'm another unemployed rider that has finally finished remodeling the old homestead and now gets to enjoy his time as a government artist ( drawing unemployment )

Ollalie lake ride

Dang, I would have liked to tag along, but went wood cutting instead. Glad I went early and left by 1 pm for home.

I'm heading up that Detroit way again on Saturday. I took my grand daughter to Brietenbush lake last Saturday, but couldn't ride past to Ollalie lake because of shoulder high snow drifts. They probably haven't melted in a week, but it still was a fun ride.

I may try the power line road that comes out just north of Ollalie lake. Never been through that way, but hear it's not too bad a road.

Met up with Dasvis yesterday for a ride, tried to cross from Gates area over to Detroit on road 2207. It was fun, I think I kind of slowed him down a bit, but here's a pic of what stopped us...

And here's dasvis considering the options, the only one being turn around...

all in all it was a fun day...thanks dasvis...Edgy

Not at all, I had a great time. Was a little disappointing to get so close to Detroit & have to turn around. The factory "slicks" on that F800GS were pretty worthless on gravel & loose rocks... should be interesting to see what a difference those TKC80 Continental tires will make.
In keeping with the food theme of this thread, I propose a breakfast stop at Cedar's in Detroit on the way up to Ollalie lake for the next ride...
