Just me and El Pyro. I assumed Riley's was open for lunch, but they just have evenings now. We went to the teriyaki place next door. No bargain.

Salem meet-ups; There's Sunday 5pm $1 pizza/$1beer (Liberty Rd), 11am-3pm $2 burger/fry (Portland Rd., untested) $3 Chinese 11-2:30pm (Lancaster, hit)
I should be in the area thru Tuesday, someone call it.

That second bottle made it run even worse, and have had no time to take it apart.
I'll be heading north for the weekend after Salem Thur, gonna get a loaner bike Sat. for a ride in backwoods WA.

I have 2fers for Ram Pub, 3 lunch and 3 dinner, expires 6-15. They have a place in Clackamas too. I'm happy with Lucky Fortune, but if anyone wants to try them for lunch, I'm open.

You've come a long way baby.
And speaking of baby, no offense, but if you look this good now, your mother must of hid you in a closest the first few years

And note to self; When speaking with fellow rider(s) about smugmug, and how it resizes photos, and said fellow rider talks about how he struggled with sizing his avatar, and self chimes in about his avatar with the big ti...err hoohoos? and said rider says, "Yeah, that's my wife", self, STFU.

Went for a putt

Went riding yesterday, up around the Elkhorn area. Thought I would post a couple of pics to bump us to page one again. The first is from a split in the road, the sign said I could make it back to Detroit Lake on 2207.

I went by another waterfall, that called for a picture...Erg, if you see this, you'll notice the rubber band is gone from the GPS, but I now have electrical tape and a zip tie in place of a screw on my windscreen mount. Some things never change

I then discovered snow at about 3600 feet...

I tried to go further, but after that sign the snow did get really deep. All in all a fun road, graveled, but not like marbles...

Nice pics. I attempted to do that route last month. Took all backroads thru Lyons, Mill city, & crossed 22 @ Gates. Then went on Gates Hill road over to the Little North fork road - Fantastic - Gates hill rd is a steep paved two lane with lots of fun twisties. Road 2207 is called French creek road (at least when it exits up by Detroit) & comes out on the far side of the bridge just before Detroit. I explored all of that area 25+ years ago in my old '70 Bronco. There are several small lakes up there & a little known rock formation called "Phantom natual bridge" -a rock arch that's pretty cool.
Once the snow clears, I am heading back up.
Another road up there that is spectacular is NF 4220 into Olalie lake, off of Breitenbush rd (NF46). It's a really rough gravel/dirt road that winds past several small lakes before getting to Olalie. It might challenge you GS & Wee-strom riders.
