Being the perfect gentleman, I met up with Molly this morning, removed the other plug (which has been correctly identified as a 16mm 1.5 pitch thread), and then took a tour of the auto-parts stores in Whistler.

This didn't take long...

No joy - bugger.

So I tried all the auto repair workshops (in case anyone had a similar plug in their 'come in handy' box).

Still no joy - damn.

So then I went to a small engineering place (Protech). The apprentice was there & couldn't help, but his boss was due back in 2 hours & would be able to make one up.

Result!

I left Molly with the chap's phone number and I'm waiting to hear the final outcome...

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions - especially the ones that referred to getting the bike fixed...
