here you go guys......
![]() IIRC i paid $69 each at the local surplus store....how does $50 each sound.... they are in good shape....one has been gutted out already...and i learned the trick to make this process easy...this one has some rust on the steel plates that hold the handles on....not very important as panniers...i planned to remove them. let me know....

I've heard horror stories of them if the valves aren't in spec when trying to kick one. Make sure you see it kicked when ice cold and then when hot. Ask for a lesson as all the owners seem to have a trick to it. I paid $1400 for mine with the electric start but no pumper carb or aftermarket tank as a comparison. Also the seat looks different and it has an aftermarket exhaust which mine doesn't.

I'd go so far as to say run it up to operating temp, shut it off, wait about a minute to get heat soaked and try to re-start it. Most people say when they are tuned up properly 1-2 kicks gets them started warm.

Ok I have to admit, the DR350 is mine. I am selling it for $$$ for a 685 kit and more farkles for the KLR650. Man, I am gonna miss that bike, but my KLR is my primary transport at the moment and it is guzzling oil at an alarming rate, I need cash for parts. I just wanted some opinons on the price, bike, kick-start only, etc. I have someone looking at it tonight, hate to see the girl go. Hell, it is faster than my KLR and so much better in the dirt.
Starting procedure? Oh Yea got that down to a science after struggling hard when I first bought it. The pumper carb really woke the bike up and made kick starts so much easier. Sorry for the swerve but I guess I was doing market research, My price is on the upper end, hopefully I'll get that and be very happy. At least I was able to jump the 08 KLR650 for a whooping 10 feet the other day at the track without breaking anything...D606's make the KLR bearable for now.. . ChickenHelmet, I have a DR350 Corbin Seat in perfect condition that will be going up for sale soon, are you interested? -Sandspit Sandspit screwed with this post 06-05-2012 at 11:56 AM |
