Honda XLV 750

Reading thru an old Road Rider mag and came across a test report I had read years back when this motorcycle was new. Honda had it nailed right there a real GS800 fighter and yet Honda let it slip away to building the Transalp, and then a very porky 1000cc ADV unit. Never have seen one in the flesh but interesting ride in the day and perhaps an updated version would be a decent ride today. Anyone have a first hand experience with these?
