A little about the tag - You shouldn't need any hints given the sign that says "USMA" But how many of you knew one of our nations Mints resided there? All of the big $$$ collector coins are minted there. This one little sign is the only indication of the mints presence on the grounds of the Academy. It is also the nations strategic silver depository, in other words it is the Fort Knox for silver. In WWII much of the silver was melted down to make wire for use in the machines used to purify Uranium for the Manhattan project.

The second pic is located a mile or 2 north of the first one on a beautiful stretch of road overlooking the Hudson. If you have never ridden this road you should put it on your personal agendas even if you are not chasing a tag!
