10:30 is good - hopefully the 640 will cooperate. I actually pushed it out into the woods the day before the hurricane because the shed I keep it in is very flimsy and I figured getting blown over would not be as bad as having a heap of roofing steel and 2x4s come down on it - I have been to busy to walk it back to the house but went last night and the scooter fired right up but none of KTMs did... cranked the 640 until the battery died and then pushed the damn thing home across the hay field to put it on the charger - will turn it over tonight. It does not like cold weather - that's for sure!
Not a coffee drinker myself - just espresso based drinks but my guts are not taking to them much these days...

Tom, mine always started easy in the cold. But I'd changed the pilot jet and adjusted accordingly. Might want to check and change yours.

My bike's been there. I wonder if it remembers the way?

The 640 has never loved starting when cold - but it always started, just 10 seconds of cranking rather then 1. But this seemed different, just nothing...
It has been rejetted (not by me) to accommodate the highflow side cover - I will bring all my spare jets and the original cover and play with it. To be honest I think the open side cover may account for the fact that the bike does not like water over 21 inches deep - which is right about where the bottom screen is... just a theory but I have been tempted to change it back for next year.

No new bikes here. Fortunately the guy with the KTM never responded. Tell you the truth, it would probably have been a mistake to buy that, a mistake I'd probably have made anyway but since he didn't call, I was saved from it.
![]() If my bike can survive this, it's all I need right now. (Mine's the first one through - I lent it to Skibum in 2011) ![]() Not sure I would have lent it if I knew he'd be doing this with it!

You could have a duel. Each carry an envelope and some lemon juice, at high noon.
You could call it "Duel Sport"!
