Odessa exit, 401 west of town, #599. Southside of highway. If you take Princess west out of town, at light in Odessa turn right, and you're there.

August 14 ride report

Hey all, the ride to the Bancroft area was a success! 400 kms total of which 120 were off-road, yeeha! The snowmobile trails between Mazinaw Lake and Denbigh seemed to go on forever! An excellent ride with Mike and Jeff. No crashes, only 10 minutes of rain and more experience on the XR equal a good day! Let me know if you guys are heading to that area again and I'll make myself available, JM

Just passing through.. I received some advice, and a route that sent me through Kingston.
I was on the ferry from NY to wolf Island, and met the couple that bought a restaurant northeast of Marysville. They made it into a yoga retreat Ctr. Anyway, they let me camp there Tues night. $30 and I got to shower and clean up.
Swam a bit in the lake, cooked dinner out by the lake also. Nice folks if you ever need a place to camp on Wolf Island.

My route then took me NE out Montreal Rd, and on up into Quebec. I'm sure it's roads you guys ride all the time. Went across a old wooden draw bridge, had a great breakfast at a place called "coffee break" or something like that. Met some retired guys having breakfast, they suggested I go see the lock and dams just north of there. Really neat, watching those guys crank the wheels an open and close the gates. Unfortunately, that's where I lost my camera.. Crap, that ticks me off.
Then went on up into Quebec, crossed back and forth on a long wooden covered bridge. Pretty country you guys have.

Oh, I almost forgot, following the route along it turned me down a snow mobile trail. It was great. I could ride those all day! But, I had to make time. My goal is still to make it around Superior, and be back in St Louis by Sunday. Got to Blind River last night.

Jeff

They were great! They put the new ecm map in among a couple other things even though they were not doing any service getting ready to do the open house today. I was quite impressed talking to the guys. Imagine... people who actually like the bikes and ride the bikes they are selling! What a concept! lol

So does that mean you liked the superten? The wife is still drooling over the pic's.

Good to hear.

Sooperten is a lot like your stelvio: visceral and a bit agricultural. Very interesting.

I love having a bike that I can clean with a pressure washer. Just sayin.

How many of you guys show up to the Wednesday Night stuff? Do you usually do Sunday rides as a group or do you sometimes do Saturdays/evenings?

Is that the petro at gardiners and 401 and what time?

Is it to go for a ride or just hang at the parking lot and look at bikes?
