Yeah, I get the same address with Joe Mama's not Jo Mama's. No beer for me tonight or the last week for that matter. I have my pre-employment drug screening and physical tomorrow.

Well, my evening started with a bang. I jumped on the 51 headed east from Harvard and started gaining speed near the Yale on-ramp. I was in the center lane doing maybe 60 or more on the KLR when the back end went squirrely. It was pretty violent, but I somewhat maintained control while I merged to the R shoulder and nearly got creamed by a car. The rear tire was blown and the rim was completely inside the tire. The flopping tire derailed the chain. Not sure if there are other damages yet. I arranged a ride and loaded the bike on my nearby trailer before heading to my games. It was slightly terrifying, but I was lucky. Still not sure what caused the explosive flat. I'll inspect more thoroughly soon.

I've blown two tires heading down the road. While the rear was pretty scary, when I blew a front tire I damn near had to change my shorts

I'd say my circumstances may be atypical. I had a flat a week ago and rode on it for 5 miles. The bead was a little kinked, but it looked salvageable. I checked the tire before I left home and had about 30 psi. Chain was taught and lubed. Still not sure if I hit a nail or something. Will inspect this evening. Regardless, I'm gonna get a new tire. My new chain and sprockets were awaiting install.
