Thanks for keeping the tradition alive, Greg. I'll be there next week.

Hey guys! Does any of you ever go to Twin Peaks on Thursdays? It's pretty packed with sport bikes and cruisers, but I haven't seen many ADV riders.

Anyway, I'll try to make it to the Colony next Tuesday.

Such is the ADV rider... non-conformist by design. Alas, we are scorned by sport bike riders and Harley riders alike.

ADVer's are hard to pin down. Besides the bikes aren't much to look at. No chrome or sexy paint schemes, no pipes to announce your arrivial. I wouldn't have it any other way......

Jeez. Nobody will be there then- correct me if I'm wrong.
Come by afterwards. If unable, I could pry my way over there for a bit, but it cuts into my chores.

I built a rack system to hold panniers... The rack almost fit the bike and needed to be tweaked, however in order for it to be right I would have to use what I made as a template to cut and bend the tubing and then use a "real" welder to weld it up. My home welder sucks... So I decided that it was just better to go with the Caribou cases... I am very happy with them. they are awesome. so freakin easy to use.

Ill try to get their sometime between 730 and 8ish so you guys can see them.
