yeah lots of places to get info, hell you see all kinds of Van Gogh on the interent too.
there is something about an advrider take on Old School Rides that seems like a work of art waiting to happen. Most of the airhead sites are just so goddamn nice. Why do people with old bikes have to be so fucking genteel all the time. Proposed rule number one of Old School Rides, cussing and beer are the first two required items in any advrider's roll away tool box. Proposed rule number two, if the first two tools cannot solve the problem it may just be too big a problem for any one man to solve. Proposed Rule Three - black socks and shorts will warrant an immediate beating, on sight, every time, no exceptions, ever. Proposed Rule Four - ban all subsequent rules. now, who do we gotta fuck to get our money pit related forum? translated form advriderese into english the above sentence = please

Vintage bikes - cool. I thought "airheads" applied to us all anyway, regardless of bike.

well...
The whole reason I started this topic was to be able to access the wealth of information about BMW Airhead GS's, which gets buried under an avalanche of oil head stuff in the BMW forum... what we should really have is a split in the BMW forum for air/oil.
Not that a fastback, super hawk or RD isn't an adventure bike to someone, but do they really qualify in terms of this forum??? Com on! Add the vintage bike thing into the "Road Warriors" forum and be done with it!

Every ride is an adventure when you ain't sure you are going to get home. Old School Rides will be like the Island of Misfit Toys, but for grown ups. Bring on the Old School Rides - "Fuck MTV, I Want My OSR" just look at it - it so fucking cool I need a winter coat just to look at it.

There are some pretty cool threads on airheads right now, scattered throughout advrider - they need a home.
In JoMomma http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48042 In Road Warriors http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47241 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47055 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46391 Here in GS land http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48045 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48109 Blood Sweat and Gears http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47442 and these are all on the recent threads from four different forums and just airheads. I didn't look for nay other brands for Old School Rides. Lets create one place for all of them.
