Well done mate.
From the pics it looks like its done no off road work. Shame about the big hole in the frame. When i was ringing around the wreckers yards looking for an engine i got basically the same story from all of them and that was the dr650 was such good motor everyone wanted it for buggy and kart projects. They get them in but there gone real quick. I did find one in nsw it was out of a burnt out dr it had melted engine cases and the head was screwed but he still wanted $950 for it. ![]() Have you thought about finding a freewind engine as i think there the same as the dr apart from the head supposedly they have bigger valves to suit there twin carbs. |

How does it work in regards to registration when you go to register the bike and it's frame and engine number dont match up. Do you have to have proof of purchase of the engine as well as the bike. |

proof of pucrchase
i rebuilt a CRX coupe once and fitted a new engine here in Vic and all they's wanted was proof of purchase. I imagine she'll be right.
How are the swingarm & cusion bearings Meez? If they're like new, perhaps you want to name a price?

I don't know how much of an effect the 5mm longer shock will have on the actual rear height, but it might just balance out the longer front forks. If your WPs also have 305mm travel they should be 25mm longer than stock.
Time to get out the tape measure!

C'mon Mezo, PINK is you!!
Mezo, you've just 'fessed up that you know about the Blue Oyster Bar so what's the big deal about a HOT PINK bike!?
You can just see all the bystanders "It's .... it's .....it's MEZO ON A HOT PINK BIKE!!!!!" ![]() But those of us that know you would simply think "Ah, that's our Mezo. Too cool for school "Keep up the good work and the equally entertaining thread. Quote:
