I have had my Canyon's for about a year. They are very comfortable and the top is slim enough for jeans. I use mine for DP but would feel more secure in a regular motocross boot for true off road adventures.

Sidi GT Sympatex. I normally wear a US Size 12 running shoe. The Sidi 46 was slightly loose, but after sticking an arch support insole in, it was perfect. I bought them online somewhere, and paid around $180 - but that was in 2001 or so...

I bought them right before I quit riding. I was mostly taking weekend touring trips and they seemed to be wearing well, broke in fairly quickly, and were waterproof (of course).

When I recently decided to get back into bikes I dug them out of the closet for a clean-up and test fit. They seem to have survived storage fairly well.

I just bought a set of lightly used SIDI Champion Rain boots off eBay. At least I think that's the model - the eBay lister didn't know which ones they were and they look like the Champion Rain boots listed on the SIDI website - although I can't find any info anywhere else online about them. Guess I'll find out if they're waterproof the next time I ride in the rain!

Anyway, they are practically new with very minor signs of wear. Wore them for the first time today and they felt great.

I don't know if it's just me, but I normally wear a 10.5 shoe or 11 in full sizes, but with this and other SIDI boots I tried on, a 10 (Euro 44) fits me better than the 11.

I think things have changed since all these folks have purchased them. I too have only found them for $325. Some say thats a "advertised" retail price and you can haggle with the company for a better price, haven't got to this point yet.

Keep us posted if you learn different..

I have the Vertigo Rains. Nice comfortable and waterproof boot. I use them for sport-touring on my FZ1.

I bought a lightly used pair of Discos off the eBay. I paid $100 thanks to the seller incorrectly listing the boots as "SID" boots.

Best $100 I've spent. PERIOD!!!

Lovin' my Vertigos so much (wear them on street and at track) that I finally broke open the wallet and ordered a pair of Crossfires yesterday. Goodbye Alpinestar Vector (A.K.A. Fireman's boots) and hello Sidis!

SIDI Boots

SIDI WAY Rain boots - "Mega" for large width feet - $225 at Cliffs in CT. Great boot for touring, comfortable over many miles, including standing on the pegs for awhile.

i have recently purchased Sidi Strada Evo Boots... and it is exactly as reviews says..

http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcyc...di/strada-evo/

bad point:
1. no toe sliders.. but it's ok.. i'm not on sport bike and knee down every corner..
2. not comfortable while walking due to stiff ankle... but why go for walking when you have bike to ride

Hey Foofighter, you can try dualsportplus in Hamilton, ON.

Most US shops will ship international but there are some hefty shipping charges delivered USPS you might save a few bucks.

Cheers.

I bought a pair of Sidi boots a couple of weeks ago on the local Craigslist ($40.) as I thought I'd get something offering more protection than the Army boots I usually wear when going off-road. I know nothing about these boots. Can anybody identify the model name? Do these boots have any type of waterproofing? Are the plastic buckles up to the task and are replacement buckles available if I need them? They are in nice shape but I have no idea how old they are. Any thoughts on that. Any other info you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks
