Do the Discovery boots have a shank in the insole? I just spent 3 weeks riding the TAT in my Oxtars that don't have any insole shank and as much standing as I did, my feet took a beating.

Sidi Vertigos, purchased 2008 at Bogarts Motorsports in Birmingham, AL. USA.

They ran me about ~$300.00 (my memory is crap, it could be less).

They are tight after all of this time, I'm past due for breaking out the shoe expanders.

I received my SIDI CROSSFIRE TA's from Johnny at GO/AZ
last week. Excellent boots / nice price. Shipped fast at a
reasonable shipping fee.

before you do that, try taking out the insole first.

lovin' the protection but the squeak intereres with my ninja missions...and eating/walking in restaurants...etc.

A google turned up WD40, sandpaper, silicone gel and ...other stuff as possible cures.

Another devout Crossfire worshiper.
From the first .00005 second I put them on, they felt like I had worn them for years.

Very comfy if you wear stockings or Tube dress socks with them

I can hike in these boots, squeak through WallyWorld and kick annoying kids in the ass

I love em

I think I paid right at $360 out the door...or $380..

First 'real' motorcycle boots I've owned.

Pros: Don't know much about others so I can't really say.
Cons: None really. They do squeak but it's a small price to pay for the protection. A thin pair of riding socks makes a big difference on longer trips.

Bought a pair of Sidi's Flex-Force (previous model of the crossfire)?!
Already tried a pair of flexforce (but this one's supermotard) and thought they where by far the most comfortable (yet solid) boots i ever tried!
So by the price of some A-star tech3 i bought these!
They shure seem good to me!

Is there anything i should know about these boots!?

Cheers!

Love my Sidi Sabers!

Two years riding them and they are just the right combo of adv and moto x boot. Love em. Wear them on all my rides other than my commute.
