Any of you need a chicken? I am going to slim down my flock from 7 to 3 (started with 26) so I have 4 girls in need of a home. I would put them in the freezer but Heidi and the kids have become very attached. Just this morning I collected 14 eggs, if you have never had a fresh egg then you are missing out on a true culinary delight.

By the way; below you see a picture of my KLR in its rightful place in my garage at my home. After some hard work, tenderness and divine intervention this bike will be staying home. That is unless someone shells out the $6,034.11. No negotiation. Let me know if you want some chickens and i will deliver them via my bike. The chickens are free...

I gave that thing back to you in NOVEMBER!!! I did consider offering to buy it from you since I liked it, but if this is how you treat your "friends"... then...

Wanna come over and play mechanic? ? Will the wife let you come out and play? ? ?

Tar changes

well I juss changed mah tars back to the Slipsters and went up a toof on the front sprocket to do some tag rides on the KiLR. Got to try to save a good weeks worth of rear knobs to do the Quachita NF next month.

So, what's this mean ? Bring the tags on, SUCKAHS !!

Let me take a moment to thank a good friend of mine that juss helped a poor soul out tonight with his ailing Puter. Hat's off to Edwin, AKA backwoodsKLR. Had a virus get in my Hard Drive and couldn't clean it off. BW went right to it and wiped it out.

I was out of town or I would have. What were you working on?

BTW, that tent is a real cheapo from Wally-World. If you spray silicone the rain fly and floor, it is as water tight as an expensive one. What can I say, I'm a KLR rider at heart. So... if you really liked it you can score a new one for about $30 plus a $4 can of waterproof silicone spray.

Yep. It's good to know a puter geek. And BW is a good guy, I don't care what I normally say about him.

Next time try sprayin a little carburator cleaner in there first before someone waste a trip out there. It will clean lots of tough stuff up...

You mean what I did actually worked? I'm gonna have to double what I charged you, no TRIPLE what I charged you...

Bought another Ride

I gave up on getting the title for that DRZ400. Today I checked Craigslist and found a 2007 KLX250S. So, I did some checking around, a phone call to Trophy1298 and another to Mitch at Got Gear. Many thanks to those two trusted opinions. I decided to take a look, at the bike.
Man, was I impressed! The bike was in Mint condition 3,511 miles, FMF Q4 full header, Jetted, Larger snorkel all installed. Renthall bars and grips, Acerbis hand guards. The guy through in the Dirt Bag's and brackets, and all removed stock parts, including stock tire's.
Brought it home, test rode it, and boy was I impressed. Only if the Honda had this get up and go. Can't wait to put some seat time in on it.
I know it is still small, but I couldn't pass it up. Later I, hope to get a street bike for those longer runs. After selling the Honda. But for now I have 2 bikes, so if anyone wants to ride and don't have a bike, maybe I would let them borrow it, and get ridin'.
I plan to bring it to Tech Day. I would like to play with the damping, after all it is a bit TALL, but manageable. Might leave it alone, who knows.
Here are some pics:

It may still be a little small, but it sure is a fine lookin ride and your not exactly the jolly green giant so I think you'll be in good shape. I like it!
