Delorme TOPO 8.0 on a Netbook?

Has anyone installed Delorme TOPO 8 on a Netbook, or, to a external hard drive?

What about National Geographic TOPO!

I know people are putting Mapsource on Netbooks but I didn't know if they are capable or rendering the 3D views found in the above applications.

To resurrect an old thread, yes I have installed and run Topo 8 on an MSI Wind w/ 1.5Gb Ram. I have not used it past a quick in the truck test.
