The US versions do not have a two map chip.Cutting the wire will only cut the wire.No map change.If you can find one the Aprilia Ti chip that goes with the pipe is nice.That's what I've been running for oh 3 years or so.They come up on ebay every once in awhile.If not there's a guy named gabro making chips that have much praise.You can find him at v60.it or apriliaforum.com.Just send him a pm and wait a few days.He will get back to you but he is busy.

Eh? Not sure what year you're talking about but the 2nd gen Tuonos have the two map chip. Just go to an authorized dealer with an Axone machine and it will take them a few minutes to toggle the bike to map2. I did it to mine.

I haven't ridden my Bike for over a week because it has been very bad It did a wheelie across a bridge at about 120 kph and then another when I was dueling with one of those sporty BMWs coming out of a down hill corner at about 90kph Naughty Bike very naughty ( yer we smoked BM easy)

As it stands now I'm keeping my RSV-R for 3-4 more years then I have the inside track on my buddies RSV4 he's getting this September or October depending on the delivery schedule for the East coast.

I kept all the factory parts to change her back or I might sell her as is with a bunch of extras. Not sure yet.

The guy I got all my stuff from that is getting the RSV4 might be coming to the September CSBA ride on his Ducati 916. That is one HOT bike!
