Well a dream has come true, my son is finally riding, and yes he actually went out with me.
Just have to wait and see what discipline of riding he will embrace, sport, dual sport or possibly the "Dark Side". At this point I am sure he will stick to what set of keys he is allowed to grab. That would be the CBR for now!

Anyone up for lunch this week? Suggestions, ???

Unfortunately we won't be on two wheels this time.

Should be caging it in an RV we're getting....I know I know..it doesn't sound like fun but Karen isn't too keen on doing the long multi day rides you two have done. The plan is for me to ride alot on two wheels with the RV following as a moving base camp. Trailer with the Burgie in tow so we can go for day rides from our various destinations.

Yep, leaving tomorrow, home Tuesday. Wanted a solo trip to get some downtime. Work, fathering, reading about Piffle's adventures...all tough jobs, it's time for a break

Weather looks dicey, but I made a route where I can hit the coast, Duluth, but able to turn around when I run out of time or energy and get my steak in Ely. Was hoping to try on some gear at Aerostich, but if it doesn't happen this trip, that's ok too.

Have a good run, stop and smell the roses every once in a while.

Hey everyone!!!

It's been a long time since I've been on. I've been putting a lot of miles on the bike. I'm currently in Kitamat BC with some mechanical issues. I'll be blogging about them when \i get back.

My blog will regale my trip to Atikokan, and White Otter Lake, which holds the enigmatic White Otter Castle. You'll hear about Jimmy Maquat, the man who built it with his own hands, by himself, in the middle of no where, in the very early 1900's.

You'll also hear about my current trip to Kitimat BC which involves massive mountains, fast rivers, big bears, and even bigger whales, good people and great food.

looking forward to getting home to put it all in picture an print.

Till then

I'll have started classes by then - I have one on Saturdays but depending on what it's like I may be able to skip it. Won't know for a little bit (and if my wife sees me talking about skipping class, I'll have two broken legs so I won't be able to ride anyway).

Hey - congrats on getting out riding with your son! Did you guys have fun?

I mean, of course you did - you were riding - but are you hoping to get out again soon?

Can't do lunch (again)... can't get out of work (again). ~sigh~
