It could be the official "Ug's buried here" marker.

Sitting on the porch of the Onward Store not enjoying a snack but trying to warm my hands up. Will do the Eagle Lake Levees on the route home.

I sat inside by the heater for like an hour when I stopped for lunch there yesterday.

Tag Grab

Onward Store on Hwy 61 just south of Hwy 1. (32.724824,-90.940152)

Tag Photo

Sure the history has something to do with the origin of the Teddy bear. I usually stop there when it's open for a coke when I do an Eagle Lake loop.

If you go there do the levees at Eagle Lake - nice banked curves and cattle gaps to jump. I waited until temps were above freezing this morning to start out, but my hands still got cold on the way up. It was warmer going home and my speed was slower - really fairly enjoyable.

Edit:
Just got caught up around the house and not enough time to get back out today - will try to place the tag in the morning.

New Tag

Ug Lee is hiding out at the main entrance at one of our state universities (not a major one). He can be found in the lowest fork in a tree to the right of the sign. I advise riding a twisty road that begins with an "R" to get there from a major north-south hwy.

Tag Photo.

Ug Lee's hiding place.

Behind the tree.

Roads are paved and twisty if you go the right way - paved and straight if you don't.

The campus is very pretty but was not motorcycle friendly a few years ago. After showing our dl's at the gate and answering 20 questions, we were followed by security in a golf cart and finally stopped by a patrol car and answered all the questions again before we decided they didn't want our kind around. I didn't go all the way to the front gate today (stopped at the tag location) but the back gate was opened and unmanned today.

Not a hard tag, but a great area for riding.

This should help you find it before I get home to post the tag photo with my bike and Ug Lee with the sign in the bg.
I have been looking for an excuse to go that way for some good fried chicken at a local establishment. Tuesday would be the earliest I could go though.

I believe they do . I went to the store at the other gate of the school - that was almost the tag location. If I'd only known everyone liked their chicken. John will have to tell us if that was the right place.

Tag

All right, I have been busy over the past few weeks and was even bruced once, OK twice. But today I scored.
This tag was at the entrance to Alcorn State. The main entrance on Hwy 552. Rodney Road was a great ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the new TAG. The famous Mississippi frog farm.
This should be the TAG photo.

Now to find our friend Ugg Lee. Standing at the frog farm travel app 100 yards south. You will see a speed limit sign, a driveway and a fire plug.
Next to the fire plug is a telephone junction box covered with brush.
Ugg Lee is at the base of the telephone box. ( see next photo)
