SWEET!!! (And since you've been there before, you'll be a great tour guide!!)

There is a back route from Rolling Fork to Sartartia and then out to 49 near Bentonia that I would like to take on the way back (a route I mentioned in another thread that I have driven many times in a car) while we are in the area. I have a few things I want to get for my bike in the next day or two (like a GPS mount, seat pad fro mWally World, etc.)

I think the road you are talking about is the 16/ 433 route I had suggested.
It matters not. I am Just "tagging" along with you and who ever else can make it.
This will be a great ride. depending on the route we take to GZ it is about 3-3.5 hours and 150 miles from my house. The return route down hwy 1 and through Satartia is about 180 miles and 4.5 hours to my house.

We can work out the details when ever you want. Just post them up and I can meet you where ever. I live in Madison.

Come on all you locals lets make it a good day ride. I hear that it is going to cool off by Saturday and only be 95.

I'm out. Had something come up. Need to be at home this weekend. Hope you guys have a great time.

If anyone wants some GPS routes from some of the trips I've been on in that area let me know and I'll email them to you.

Anyone else want to tag along? I have not heard from Pappy lately... I hope he is still up for it. Otherwise, this will be a long and lonely cruise for me... But I'll take one for the team to get the tag moving again!!!

See rule #4...

I though long and hard about going or not, since y'all were going. But the I had planned on trying to get this tag (or any tag) at the earliest opportunity. It just so happened that today was my first chance to go. Y'all probably would have beat me to posting it if I didn't luck out and find a wireless signal in Clarksdale

Pappy and Backwoods, I hope you still enjoyed your ride as much as I enjoyed mine! That IS the point of the game.

I'll get the new tag up this afternoon/evening. We have a mascot now....
