I wanted to go see Hillstomp last night in Ballard but never made it off Capitol Hill. They throw it down!! Every time I've seen them in the past has been a party.

I'd like to put in a plug for my nephew's band, The Lovely Lost. They play all original music, no covers. They have a few shows coming up later this month at the Twilight Cafe on SE Powell on the 24th and the Ash Street Saloon on the 28th. I saw them perform a few weeks ago and even though I'm an old guy I think they're pretty hot. My nephew writes all the songs and is the lead singer. It's really hard for a band getting started to get gigs and audience, but I live 700 miles away so I want to help him out by digging into the local ADV inmate pool. Thanks.
