From the looks of it it looks like you MAY have painted that little critter. I can tell from the silver/blue pieces below the seat/tank.
We did the same to my wifes 650. Sure wish (after seeing this one) she would have listened to me an went with flat black.
The electric orange is nice but I REALLY like yours.

thank you for the compliment! yea i really like the way it came out. this is my third paint job on this bike in 2 months! i think im satisfied for awhile lol!

i wonder how matte surface paint looks after a couple years of road abuse, bugs baked on, etc... I'd think it would be much harder to clean than a glossy surface that you can polish with some wax, and would show stains and such much more.

i did my gs in automotive urethane basecoat then a flat clear over the top, its really hard and slick and bugs wipe right off with some windex glass cleaner. i have used the spray can flat black before and it was good for a few years at least then just re spray if it gets old looking, easy to touch up too!

did you use one of the flat blacks as a base coat or just a regular black?

hi, i used regular black basecoat then a flat clear over it instead of regular clear. the stuff feels more slick than regular clear too for some reason. bugs wipe right off.
