Woah, what is it with you guys hanging and balancing your helmets on your handlebars?! I wouldn't dare do that and risk breaking my helmet, knowing my luck it would even fall off if I used the chin strap to hang it upside down

I rest mine over the mirror. If my helmet couldn't handle a fall from the handle bars in a stopped position, I don't want it anyway :).

I destroyed one once dropping it from waist height while stationary onto concrete, all the polystyrene came out of the crack like it was under pressure...

Amigo, I have dropped mine numerous times. In addition, a month ago I crashed HEAD FIRST into a rock on the side of the road. You have to look very closely to see the minute scratch.

That helmet you had that busted...it was defective. You should send it back to the manufacturer and ask for a replacement.

with the wheel turned one grip is pointed up and one down. This may sound obvious but put the helmet on the one turned up. Dont ask how i figured that out.

That must be the same group that had a mining operation in "Kennecott", AK. The mine has been shut down since the 1930s, but the old structures are still there. I visited last year.
