Where on earth was a mint looking 12 year old SV with 3k miles hiding?
 Not even broken in yet...I picked up a clean '99 with about 20k last fall and was thrilled to find it! Enjoy it, they're great bikes. |

I had a red SV650S for about 8 years and absolutely loved it. I'm sure you will enjoy the heck out of yours! Two tips, just in case you hadn't already heard this advice... (both for rain) -pay some attention to the front spark plug. Get some form of appropriate grease around that area to prevent water getting into the plug/cap. - make sure that the little overflow channel in the inside filler cap area is not bunged up, or you'll likely get water in the gas and wonder why its running on one all of a sudden. Minor things both, and easily prevented. Other than that mine just kept on going with no issues at all. Love that engine!
