Hey JJ, nice SR. I had one...loved it, and sold it to my buddy who loves it. I now have an SR500 motor in a Suzuki GS500 chassis. Wild! I called it the Rogue. 42 HP on the dyno. We have three thumpers: Buell Blast (my wife's), the Rogue, and an MZ Baghira SM. One bang per fencepost is all you really need...

Thanks for the welcome. While I don't consider myself a squid (more of a hooligan) I *do* love the quote. I wear waaaay too much armor to be a squid! I seldom lanesplit (it's illegal here in WI), I never wheelie down the interstate (but I surely do wheelie), and I've never wadded a bike [knock-knock]. I just did a 3,400-mile ride on my Baghira last fall, from WI to MA, up into Quebec and back to northern MN, then home. Loads o' fun. Look for an upcoming article in Dual Sport News magazine.

Looks like one of my recent BMW's - Does it run real good over 110?

If so , yummy...

I am 100% certain that it will not *go* 110. I did run it at an honest 105 (as verified by a BMW RS rider who had his speedo officially verified at that very speed by a state trooper.
At 105 (115 on my speedo) I was pretty well outta steam. Of course, I could get a bit more top end at the expense of easy wheelies. Naaaah! It's an unfaired bike fer cryin' out loud. I can cruise just fine at 80-85. I live where there are turns in the road...

Here is my LC4. Don't have one of those great side of the road shots, but will work on that. In the group shot I was on my 400 RXC, just did not have enough power so got the 640... much better!!

Shine removal commences

Okay, boring pic... but you know how the new-toy syndrome works. I got a bit tired of hoisting my Adventure back up on its wheels (5 times now and always while riding alone). I've been avoiding a lot of good trails/roads when riding alone just 'cause I didn't want to have a long walk out if I tipped it over. So I decided to supplement it with something a bit easier to hoist.
