Sorry for the confusion Anti, looks like we missed a good ride.
Nice to see another XRL, on the road!

Glad you had no reaction (other than ouch and a few choice words).

That sucks man. You had a full blown attack before?

Based on previous reactions, I had thought about an epi-pen. Last reaction I had was from a sting on the thumb. When I saw the stinger in the neck, I thought I was a goner for sure.

So I did what any reasonable person would do and took funny pictures.

can of Skoal. I keep one with me during the summer I'm alergic to red wasp. take a wad of dip and hold it to the sting. it will pull the poison out. Also you have one of the best things to kill the poison with right in front of you on a bike. GAS. dip a rag or anything cloth in it and hold it to the sting. it will kill the poison. both have kept me from going to the hospital quite a few times.

I swell up in and around the location of the sting. Like elephant man swelling. Have experienced the funny taste and slight airway restriction. All of which was from a sting to the hand. One in the throat with nothing to counter act it would take me out. Guess I'd need to snap some pics pretty quick.

Eeore, MSRider and myself met in Mendenhall to ride en masse to Monticello to meet Weave.

Being good ADVer's, we did what we always do when we get together:

Be aware, don't expect to use the restroom at the Sonic in Monticello:

Did a lot of this and even twistier stuff on Hwy 587:

Stopped and Red Bluff where we met a couple coon asses from Weave's neck of the woods:

Weave's friends were really nice and this guy was particularly funny. He was short little fella (think Trophy, but a little shorter and a smartass too like Trophy; but funnier) so to get on his bike, he got a running start with it and stepped on the left side peg with his left foot then threw his right leg over the bike. Sadly, he is not on ADVRider, but he promises to ride with us again:

Finally, we said our goodbyes, promising to ride again soon:

Thanks Eeore, MS and Weave! Yesterday was a fun day!

It's my Father-in-law's. Sadly, he's gonna be selling it soon. Sad because I know I can't afford it!

After an early morning run to the Kickstand, I rode to meet DQ for some BBQ, then decided the weather was so nice I had to get out and play a little...
