Nice ride on sunday, great group of riding buddies, nice lunch at Silverstar, nice gravel near lost gap and meridian, dust was tough my sinus hurt today, did 100 mph the whole way home on I-20 when we split, I LOVE my big YAMAHA!!

Only took one pic all day and here it is

Oh, that was where Greg had to split off to go wash his bike?

There are many more good roads in that area, a real maze of gravel roads!

(Ran off and forgot my memory card reader or I'd upload the 3 pics I took...)

It's not like I had $1000 in camera equipment and was taking semi-pro action shots of riders that will never been seen... Just a couple of used Super Tenere's, a green KLR, and some other people....

Anti,
Should have told us about the bass player so you could have had some fans there.

I'll cut you a little slack, only because I brought my helmet cam and forgot to charge the battery, so in 4+ hours of riding I managed to get 35 minutes of video before it died. I did get 5:30 of Ninja on gravel action though.

When I played the video back at 1.5x speed it looks like I was keeping a good pace on the gravel, then when it gets back to pavement looks like I hit warp 9

I can show you that part, pretty easy if you have a helper.

Scared to look at the Tenere filter knowing once in to look it might be a while before I can get one My heated grips are on backorder so I bet that an air filter is not that plentiful in supply either.

Can't order one today anyway since they are closed that pisses me off to no end

Edit: YIKES I just looked up the cost of an air filter from an online oem vendor, $25.33 for a replacement. Bet it cost 30% more at Got Gear. Off roading on the Tenere could get expensive from buying just air filters. Poor design thought process Yamaha we should have got the foam filter like the rest of the world gets on this bike. Stupid US EPA mandated crap here.

I just searched several online sites and most don't even list the S10 on their "select your bike" list...

Stadium Yamaha in Dallas has it listed. Gg has a book on it. Oil filter is same as the R1. Service manual says change at 24k miles unless you ride in extremely dusty conditions. Yesterday was extreme following only one bike even at an offset angle which always Is a risk of a head on with some cage twit coming down the road in the middle or sitting still like yesterday.

Oh well price to play guess I will order one tomorrow when they open back up.

that's the price you pay for getting a new bike the first moment it's allowed in the US. It will get better.
