Shoot yeah, y'all ought to ride up sometime. Most of us are pretty good at letting the crowd know when a ride will happen, so keep your eyes open. We love to ride with new people! Y'all ought to come up this weekend to Tech Day at DQ's! I'm not sure if you will learn anything from some of us knuckleheads, but we sure do have fun!

When you get ready to buy you might want to check with Max's BMW,
I got a new left over 09 R1200GS almost 2 years ago from them shipped to me and it was $2000.00 cheaper than anyone around here at the time.

Propbably would not have been so bad except that DQ let me ride the little red girl that he had and it put the fever in me

Ebw, it's on Salem rd, east off of hwy 57 a few miles north of hwy 26. North west George county. If you come in from the west, Salem rd/ Salem school rd/ fs307(the road changes names a lot!) is mostly dirt. I would check the river level before you go. It floods pretty easily there. It's listed as Pascagoula river at Merrill I think.

Sand is really soft to land on... From a Klr. Think I'm gettin better though.... Mosquitos gave me a 6.5 on my last dismount!

atta boy, get us back on track.

Road a few years back with some guys on the sand. The BMW was like wrestling a hog, but Eeore's KLX250 was incredible in the stuff.

A bunch of us did 8-10 miles of deep white sand out in Moab and it was nearly miserable... I had a decent crash already that day and a pretty jacked up leg to boot but we all made it thru team work and it was well worth every second! Thanks for the info on the bridge too.

EBW, I have a route we took to dFR 2010 that crosses that bridge. The route is moostly dirt and will take you about 6 hours. You end up at Cypress Creek campground. Tell the ranger there that the dFR crew says hi.

Thought some of you would find this interesting. I have done no research on the issue, but I find the implications pretty interesting in regards to previous DNFR's and what not. Again, I have no REAL knowledge of the issue save for what's stated in this article.
