Glad yall had a good ride,,,,Anti always provides exciting places to ride,,,,,,,Dont think the Goldwing would have been very hap[py in that gravel.....My buncj went to Ezells and meet about 30 other riders and some MTF guya,, Had lunch told lies,,compared bikes and rode off intothe sunset...Will try to catch yall next time, ole rider,,,uj

You missed a good one, Larry. The only bad part was riding Hwy 25 on the way home. I'm glad I went up Friday night.

Ok Anti we're going to have to work on your description of big bike friendly gravel. had I came I would of been on the FZ. Next time just tell me XL or FZ friendly...But now if i get that trailer set up I can just hail the XL to your house behind the FZ and go from there

So here's my take on the weekend...

DQ and I met at PBTP to fuel up with some good ol' REAL gas Friday night after work. We hit Hwy 25 and headed north. As we came into Starkville, I pulled over and called D#1. She and a friend met DQ and I at Grumpy's where we had supper. After that we hit 82 east and stopped at Holiday Inn Columbus for the night. About half way down 82, we passes a large catfish farm. Could not see it in the dark but did see the numerous insects that hang around it as they hit our wind screens and visors...

Got up Saturday morning, stopped by the Waffle House, and realized we had some time to kill before our appointed time. So we geared up to hunt for gas and Anti's house...


We get to Anti's, and alert him to our presence...

Finally the BMW contingent arrive. Anti and KW take turns doing the Hokey Pokey...


Finally the official time has come, no more riders materialize, so off we head!

On these back gravel roads, the most common item, besides gravel, appears to be old churches, out in the middle of nowhere

He must have packed for a trip to Alaska in all that luggage... Or was it just all coffee?
