Hey Trophy can you raise them on the long distance radio????

Haven't heard from DQ either ---gonna take a Sattelite to reach him in wonderland
Have not heard from any of them other than here and FB. DQ and Supah are where I want to be.

I'm heading out May 23rd for a week of riding. Headed to??? Thought I knew, then I found out today I'll have another whole day, possible two to ride, so I'm rethinking it all.

LUCKY TURD--------I can't get away too much right now ---have to settle for the short trips and driving the short bus is always entertaining ---just have to remember that I am supposed to sit in the front left seat and not one of the ones in the back

well I headed to Jackson this morning to go ride with a friend of mine down there over to the BassPro shop. I though about moving the Jackson Ms tag on the way down but I didn't. we left his house to get gas and swapped bikes he road the FZ and i road his shiny new CBR250R. I was really surprised with the little bike. It has a really nice power curve. Not like most rockets that have a hit at 6000rpms. Nope this little bike pulls nice from 2000 to 12,000 and will pull back up from 35mph in 6th gear. a real nice surprise. my only gripe was the handle bars are a little to low for me. need to be about an inch higher.

anyway we left the basspro shop and headed to ride around the Rez. we took a wrong turn and ended up over on 51. Don't ask. well once we figured out where we had poped out we headed up to get the Jackson tag and headed back over to his house and dropped it on the way. I had started feeling bad and had a headache so I headed home. Of coarse Stef. was with me she stayed at his house with his wife and oldest daughter swimming. About half way home i relised is was running a fever, chills burning up chills burning up. about Carthage i thought about pulling over and having someone come get us but i pushed on and got home. took something for the headache and fever and layed down. woke up hour and a half later sweating like crazy. I've got to go back to the doc to get over this sinus infection i've had for a few months now.

I hope I didnt place the Jackson tag somewhere it already has been.

It has been several months since I've seen my Brother. We finally got the opportunity to get together for a day of riding. My brother (Charles) only owns street bikes so I let him ride the Husky today.

We headed down to Bienville NF

I was really surprised how quick he got the hang of dirt riding.

Meet Charles

We rode some familiar trails

I had never been able to cross this little creek but it was passable today.

Then I decided to ride the power line. This is where the work started.

First problem was a flat tire.

We were up and running again in about 20 minutes.

Then I got stuck a couple of times in this nasty muck.

Then I found a bottomless pit of the muck.

After lots of work we finally made it off of the power line and back to some easy riding.

Charles wanted to try out the KTM so we swapped for a little while.

That's about it. We made our way back to my house via secondary roads. It was a great day of riding with my big brother.

He's a pretty big ole boy but I guess I should have said, 'my older brother'. He's not quite as big as me.

We didn't really ride that much in MS.

I'm sorting through pics now. I'm sure there will be a thread dedicated to the event. But I'm not making it. Ol' BW had to go and curse our trip with the thread title he had bouncing around in his head...

I think the smartest thing you did was ride the bike that weighs 250 lbs less than the other one.
