Vtr

2000 VTR Firestorm up in Peterborough, Ontario during one of the rides last fall. All stock. 10,000 trouble-free kms in the first year of ownership - love it!
51yo, 6' and OVERweight - as long as I ride my bicycle two times a week, do my daily stretching and a bit of weights semi-regularly, I can spend a day on this bike no problem. Small gas tank doesn't bother me. I get 160, 170, even 180 kms before the reserve light comes on most of the time. I would stop that often even if I have a bigger tank. The only thing it doesn't do well is two-up.

ETA: Superhawk = Firestorm in Canada

My Superhawk was purchased from a salvage yard, needed radiator, headlight, clip-ons.. sold the bike after I pieced it back together.

My VFR was also a salage bike, needed body fairings, regulator, and new tires... sold it after 12,000 mi of riding:

My XX was purchased from Craigslist, needed regulator, brake/clutch fluid change.. now it's the only Honda in my garage.

Agreed. I've never been much of a fan of the black ones, but that red is just gorgeous on that thing.

It's a 2001 in Candy Glory Red. I agree, it's a gorgeous color, and the best color for the XX IMHO. There was also a blue one in other parts of the world that looks really nice. I found a black 2003, 20 miles from me with the same miles and for the same price, but I went 300 miles for this red one. I'm extremely happy that I did!

Beatiful color and IMHO one of best Hondas ever!

But those Corbin beetlebags...what they were smoking when they designed those? Seen pair on Superhawk - equally mad and destroying lines of bike more than usual panniers.

I didn't like the Beetle bags in pictures, but I do think they look fine on the bike in person. I like 'em better than the Givi's. To each his own, right?

It's obviously a subjective thing but I think the lines are kept pretty clean with the Corbin bags.

Nicely outfitted Bird you have there! I hope to have mine outfitted like that over the next couple of years!
