Dang, Aarrff, I would have been tempted to ride around that.
Anyone going to the top there are several roads you can take. I took Sawmill Road. It is 17 miles from Hwy 28. Sawmill road is mostly gravel with a couple of very steep dirt switch backs.
There is a lake at the top and a bunch of options on getting down. I was low on gas so I went back the way I came.
The view from the top is incredible.

The warden was up there. His vehicle is just downhill from my bike...figgered it might be good idea to behave

Grabbed! TVR breakfast ride turned into a tag grab. We had a blast riding from Paint Bank VA to Spruce Knob via all the twisty roads we could find.
