Highly polished with a clear powder coat, i dont think it will look Harley

Did you use Suzuki bearings or Procycle ones ? im going to re-new every bearing on the whole bike before my trip.

Hi Mark
Sorry for the late respone.....I bought new bearings at the shop, but one or two bearing were from suzuki since they were non standard. My tip for you is that replacing those bearings is not easy and you need special tools so as to be carefull not to damage the swingarm.
were are you going on a trip to?
I did polished both my swingarm and link, and than I sandblasted the swingarm again left only with the link been polished. Depand how you want your bike to look like (sisi one or an offroad bike).....

How about an update.....Did you finish it?, ride it?, wreck it?, did it get stolen? (O.K. I'll stop asking questions...)

I am hoping for the finish it and ride it.....

Thanks.....

Questions about rebuild

Hi Yossi

You've done a great post about your rebuild.

I have a couple of questions about the rebuild as I'm about to do one myself and I'm wondering if you could help.

1. Remove flywheel.. Can this be done with a case/harmonic balancer/steering wheel puller and the hex head bolts around the flywheel? or did you go straight to a flywheel puller?

2. Did you hold onto the flywheel with a adjustable spanner or did you invest in a 36mm offset ring spanner?

3. Remove and install castle nut behind flywheel.. Where did you buy the tool from? Or do you have some idea of size for making it?

4. The bearing in the photo which is broken.. it has a pin in it which is only available as an OEM part. It looks like you used a standard bearing... did you glue the bearing into the case with bearing retainer or something?

5. Install crankshaft into right bearing... did you use a special crank shaft puller or some other tool? It looks like the thread is right hand so i'm thinking it might be a bit difficult with a puller as it will unthread.

Thanks in advance for your help!
