Hi Syd..

I`m delighted with how its coming up mate.. Way better than what i`d hoped for and really looking forward to having a play on it..

Still unsure if i`m suited to sidecars but if I don`t like the feel of it on the road, I have a new lounge suite that will be a talking point for sure..

If you find you are not suited or don't like the feel, no need to make it a talking point you'll sell it easy.

I know a bloke in old Syd town who would have a look at it

I think it would sell fairly easily but I hope I don`t have to head down that path for some years to come.. It will take some time to get used to it but I think it will be fun to learn.. Time will tell I guess..

If that's the case, you could give it to your young fella. From what I've heard, he might ride it better than his old man

Sadly mate, that aint that far from the truth..

I think the daughter would have some say in who gets it though Clancy, out of the two, I think she`s the most excited.. She has said a half a dozen times tonight that she`s looking forward to taking it camping with me.. I can see some Father/Daughter bonding trips in the very near future..

Hey Nev, doesnt the Minister for Finance get the 1st ride

Seriously, its looking great It will feel odd at 1st, but stick with it, and you will get the rewards.
At least you have a great bunch of diehard 3 wheelers around you for support.

G`day Johno..

To be totally honest mate, the wife isn`t showing any signs of interest in it at all.. I showed her the photos of it tonight and all she said was " good for you dear"..

Hoping that once I have it home she`ll come around a little.. Typical Accountant I guess.. She`s probably thinking about how much it would have made if it was invested in shares... Never mind mate, the kids more than make up for her lack of enthusiasum..

Another day, another Ural

Work recommenced this morning with the aim of getting it all finished.
Not much to do, just a bit of wiring, fitting a few small bits and pieces, and tightening everything we started yesterday.

Tightened and sealed the front luggage rack, wired up all the lights.

Fitted the front stone guard.

A windscreen still has to be made and fitted, and there's one or two small things still to be done.

Then a Very slow ride up the street, still grinning

There used to be a cooking show on ABC tv a while ago, about two rather large ladies, travelling the country on an outfit, cooking up very unhealthy, but great tasting food.

It was called Two Fat Ladies

The ABC wanted to do a sequel, but they drew a line and point blank refused to do a show called....................

....................wait for it............................

TWO FAT QUEENS.
