I think he raped me on the jacket though. I mean, shit, $1000 for a whole bike, and then after I fall in love with the jacket tell me, $100???

I just picked this up on Craig's list for $600. It just needs a new wiring harness which I got on EBAY for $40.

1980 Honda XL250S. 5300 miles. The only things not original are the seat cover and the exhaust has been painted. $1450.00. I'm happy.

This probably won't excite too many of you, but I bought this for $100. He said it ran good a few months ago but it needed a new petcock AND he didn't have any gas there to test it. Sounded a little fishy. He said I could just take it and if I got it running then I could pay him. That statement gave me the push to buy it. Got home and hooked up some gas.

Fired right up and ran great. So I ordered a petcock and new plastics on sale and painted the seat. It's faster than it should be in 4th gear. Fun ride for the kids and I!

This started with a long time friend finding a couple Wards Riversides(Benelli 125cc two strokes). He felt a bit like Howard Carter...

It passed through another friend's hands before my wife bought it for $1000. She's going to turn it into a cafe project. Found a fairing for it, next will be a bum stop, paint, exhaust, then shocks.

I got both of these for $800. Parted the '74 R90, and am working to make a G/S styled dirt bike out of the '85 monolever.

Two under $1500

My current rides are an '87 KLR I got for free, then spent $550 getting a '94 engine from another forum (doohickey...), and a stock '86 Concours for $800.

Add cost of tires and fairing bits after I crashed the concours, I still think I'm under $1500 for both...
