88 KDX200. Traded an old Puch Moped I fixed up for it. Total investment at time of trade, $700. I'll have maybe $1000 into it after all is said and done. Needs new KIPPS Valves and some cosmetic love.
![]() 1969 Jawa Californian. Picked it up as seen (and not seized) for $650. Has spark issues. But it's getting put into running condition and being kept as a rat bike.

I owned an 87, 89, 91 and 92 KDX's. The wife and I raced KDX's for years. Great bikes. They are as bulletproof as bikes come. That silencer weighs around 7 lbs though. Pro Circuit SA and some Boyesen's and that thing will rip! Have fun!

'98 BMW F650, $1300. Runs great but needs minor xmssn repair, pops out of 2nd occasionally. I'll be pulling the engine soon for a fix.

Niiiiiice!
Vinyl paint for the seat, a splash on the fenders and you're golden. I guess it doesn't run yet? |

1968 cl175 (k0) $500
It got this yesterday for $500 with title, and shop manual!
![]() See all the pics (larger than what is posted in this thread) here: http://home.comcast.net/%7Ebmwmtech/...sed/index.html The blue paint held its color great all these years, but unfortunately, has a lot of chips (which have started to rust) on the leading parts of the tank. The chrome on the rear fender is wasted, but I should be able to save the rims, front fender and exhaust. The muffler heat shield is broken at one of the slots, which is very common on these. I have a complete spare exhaust that I may use instead. The most immediate problem, though, is the kicker shaft is broken. I have another (untitled) '68 CL175, that, for now, I'll swap motors with to get this one running. The inside of the fuel tank is very clean, and the engine feels to have good compression, though, I can't really test the compression until I replace the kicker shaft -- any idea where to get one? The plan is to replace the various chrome parts with better ones I already have, swap the motor, and get it running. I'll then just enjoy riding it while I complete the 1967 CL160 that I'm working on (see project log here: http://www.hondatwins.net/forum/view...60+restoration ). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
