the kansai-riders big poled tarp/ small tent rig:

i am using a big agnes seedhouse 2 tent. total weight for tent and tarp is about 3kg/ 6.6lbs

The tent is a Chinese 1/2 season P.O.S. $69.99.
My wife was complaining how my quality tent doesn't have enough room so I got this as an option.
Great as long as it doesn't pour rain on you...ask me how I know.
We love it for longer trips as it has a huge amount of room...lots of windows and 3 access openings...just have to trust the weathermans' forecasts..
