Well, it's a long story but the short answer is NOT YET. I've moved to Virginia and now that trip is 4000 miles longer than when I lived in Wyoming, and I have a new job where I don't earn as much leave time.

As a consolation, we live in the middle of some of the finest riding I've ever known (we're 20 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway) and we ride a lot out here. I will get to Alaska soon, though! It's on my "do before you die" list. Probably fly and ride, though, can't see spending the time riding back and forth across the Plains from here...

Doug

Beautiful! The fact that your wife wears her wedding band in a modelling photo shows a LOT of class IMHO ... congrats to you both!

I agree - Redheads Rule!

Here's my wife Louise, next to her 09 VStrom 1000, just as we were leaving Aug 15 on a 13 day ride around western Alberta and central BC.

She had only been home a week from her solo trip to Ontario from Calgary in July.

I'm very lucky to have a 30 year marriage to a woman who's as into riding as I am.

istephens screwed with this post 08-31-2012 at 05:31 PM Reason: She read the post, saw her age, the. Said to remove it if I figured on being married 31 years :)
