I'm looking for some electrical advice on my 1972 Z50.

The compression is great, gets fuel, but it has no spark. Plug is good. My son and I tested the coil and it seems to be fine 1.8 on the primary and 19.7 on the secondary. I undid the kill switch and kicked it over, still no spark. I put a wire from from the black lead coming from the stator and touched it to the frame as I kicked it, there was spark from the wire to the frame. I'm thinking the only thing left are points and condenser, they are original. I've noticed some of the red insulation material at the ends of the stator coils so brittle it's falling off, I'm thinking it's shorting out. It's been awhile since I tinkered with points. Am I missing anything else?

Oh yeah, and the smoking gun? Someone decided to power wash the engine.... not me.

I'll snag a puller and rebuild kit for the stator assembly from CHP, probably won't hurt to freshen everything up even if this turns out not to be the culprit. But I have a feeling that power wash was the final straw.
