Getting in a bad wreck is certainly a factor. I don't know about JJ. He's never struck me as an overly aggressive driver. He takes what the car will give him and maybe a little more. You don't see him making any bonehead moves out there, a-la Jeff Gordon in his youth, or Kyle Bush, or Tony Stewart. Jimmy just runs around the track and by the end of the race he's usually in contention for the win. I attribute JJ's success to his crew chief and the relationship they have. Jimmy has some outstanding luck too, but he is good at working on the car throughout the race so that by the end he's one of the best cars out there, race after race after race. They tune and tweak on the car until it's relatively fast. He doesn't beat himself either. He doesn't overdrive the car, he doesn't get in wrecks of his own making, and for the most part he is lucky enough to stay out of other people's trouble too. I think the other drivers should start knocking him around.

ESPN is reporting that Kasey Kahne has signed with Hendrick Motorsports for 2011. No word on if Budweiser moves with him.
Hendrick currently has the #5 with Mark Martin, #24 Jeff Gordon, #48 Jimmy Johnson and the #88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. and no more 5 cars to a team so where does he go? Stewart-Haas is a Hendrick satellite team for lack of a better term so someone could be moved there.

I don't think either one will, both will be driving in 2011.
Now how does this look for Richard Petty Motor-sports if Budweiser leaves. That organization has been battling all kinds of money rumors of late.

Wow, didn't see that coming. I figured he'd move on, but it's awfully early in the season to be announcing this. I'd imagine it's pretty demoralizing for the rest of the team. My guess is that he'll be in the #5 and Mark will move to Stewart Haas. Stewart needs another car and Mark would be a really good fit. I'm also guessing Budweiser will stay with Kahne.

Whats with all the retarded shows on speed. If Waltrip can host American Idol I want to see Simon Cowell do a racing show.

Lap #181 crash Jimmy Johnson caused that but no one will say so.
Well atleast JJ wrecked himself on lap #195! well it does sound like his spotter cleared him. What does Jeff Burton have to do to get a good finish?
