once upon a time...

I just sold this little Gem a couple of months back to finance another adeventure (Yamaha TRI-Z 250) which I recently sold to finance yet another adventure (I know, it is a BAD habit, but...). Was a fun bike to ride. I am sure by the time we start camping this summer andmy brothers and I are sitting there in the campground "watching the kids" while the wives are out ridding I will miss it... all those stumps... just sitting there... dang now I already miss it!

guy I know bought this montesa cota and I helped him get it running. the rubber in the petcock had deteriorated and plugged up the holes. seems it's in pretty good shape for an '81. speedometer shows 1500 miles.

I really like my greeves. If i could locate a twin Id jump in immediately.

My 60 scottish is supposed to be really rare here in the us. it even has a plate. ive never seen or heard of a twin around here.

currently wrenching on a pair of BSA's...gonna turn em into trail machines.

Nice bike FD. Its a shame they only got into trials for a couple of years.
I have one just like that but the fuel tank has started to leak?? so I thought it was time for a bit of a resto. Will post some pics when its finished!!
