Hey, that's my rock-bound highland home. That said, I never had a motorcycle, much less a trials bike when I was at school there. I did however ride my road bicycle all up and down the Hudson Valley and mountain bike around Storm King and Bear Mountains and the surrounding area. Beautiful country! Boy those rocks are slick with moss though and even worse in the fall when the leaves are hiding everything.

I noticed in the video that your rear tire is bouncing, but I'm sure you noted that as well. Tire pressure too high?

Some random videos from this summer.

This video is at TTC, a gate trials with 4 teams of about 8 riders per team. Aron Cook and Ryder Okamura top bicycle trials riders borrowed some bikes and rode as well as my nephew from Kentucky. A fun day.

National bicycle trials (maybe a repost) at the TTC on July 1.

My friend Rob Hertritch's 2 boys riding at sunset at my house.

I think the tire pressures are down under 10... maybe too high, but seems like they're practically flat most of the time. Youre right about the slick rocks, and how beautiful it is...
I saw the back tire bounce there, I think its my technique that sucks I know i should have been hitting that rock in a wheelie, too I just couldnt quite pull it off before I wiped myself out.
This video is shot in Rosendale, right at the very northern tip of the Shawangunks, where the whole ridge dives under the surface.

Cody Webb...

I'm sure that for some us, this is one of the reasons that we picked up a trials bike, no not to race enduro-x. The skills involved in trials translate well to maneuvering a bike enduro bike around in the hard stuff, as Mr. Webb demonstates so well here.
