Hello, to refresh your memory, I inquired about 1550 liner's a couple of weeks ago. I wanted custom dividers & pockets. I finally have the demo pics. [IMG][/IMG]

I would like the cardboard dividers to be aprox. 2/3 the hieght of the bag. I was thinking mesh or clear for the pockets. Am I pushin my luck yet.

In the mean time. The cordura material is a highly water resistant material. It has a polyurethane coating in the inside which prevents water from penetrating it.

By the way, these are for 2008 and later model. Not sure if they would fit 2007 and earlier. You would have to make a template like I did to make sure on the 2007 and earlier model KLR.

The KLR bags are on their way to me. I will get them on my 2008 and post some pics on KLR650.net. I will post here with a link.

For water proofing I plan to use some silicone seal. Then maybe some wax on top of that. Should keep the rain out. But the zipper will still be a weak spot. I had the zipper placed on the back side so if I am moving the rain will not hit where the zipper is.

I plan on putting stuff in there that is not routinely accessed. So I will also put stuff in zip lock bags. Tire tubes will go in zip lock bags and pre-powdered for ease of install.
